David Wright combines an Engineering PhD from Cambridge University, UK, with his current position as Full Professor in The University of Ottawa School of Management to provide a business perspective on telecommunications technology. He has worked with telecommunications equipment vendors and network operators on market analysis, network evolution, service requirements, distance education and the strategic impact of new technology on business. He has worked with e-commerce software vendors and network operators on web services, security, network identity management, electronic invoicing and telelearning.

 

At the University of Ottawa, Dr Wright provides undergraduate and graduate courses, specializing in Wireless E-Commerce. He also provides professional training to the telecommunications industry in emerging wireless telecommunications technologies.

 

He is author or coauthor of the following books:

Voice over Packet Networks, published by J. Wiley.
